A space for honest inner work

Change begins when your experience can be met with safety, curiosity, and care.

You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. Together, we can slow down, understand the emotional patterns beneath the surface, and create room for more choice, connection, and ease.

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. I work with people across ages and backgrounds, offering care in both English and Mandarin.

My style is warm, collaborative, and attentive to the experiences and emotions that shape how you relate to yourself and others. I draw from a psychodynamic and experiential foundation, with training in EMDR, Emotion-Focused Therapy, ISTDP, and AEDP. When useful, I also integrate focused, skills-based strategies such as CBT.

I have experience supporting concerns related to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationships, child and adolescent behaviour, substance-use recovery, and medically unexplained symptoms.

How I can support you

Care shaped around the person—not just the symptom.

01

Anxiety & overwhelm

Make sense of persistent worry, pressure, sensory overload, and patterns of avoidance or overcontrol.

02

Depression & grief

Find language and movement when life feels heavy, disconnected, or changed by loss.

03

Trauma & difficult experiences

Process what remains unresolved while building safety, capacity, and trust in yourself.

04

Relationships & family

Explore recurring dynamics, unmet needs, boundaries, conflict, and more secure ways of connecting.

05

Children & adolescents

Support emotional expression, behaviour, school concerns, neurodivergence, and family communication.

06

Mind–body concerns

Attend to the relationship between emotions, stress, the nervous system, and physical symptoms.

My approach

Depth with
flexibility.

01

Understand what is happening beneath the surface

We pay attention not only to thoughts and behaviours, but also to emotions, bodily responses, relationships, and formative experiences.

02

Work at a pace your system can hold

Therapy should be meaningful without becoming overwhelming. Safety and collaboration guide the depth and pace of our work.

03

Use the right tool for the moment

Experiential, relational, trauma-focused, and practical methods are integrated based on your needs rather than a one-size-fits-all formula.
